Frequently Asked Questions about Permanent
Makeup:
What is Permanent Makeup?
Permanent makeup is essentially a cosmetic
tattooing process performed by a licensed technician. The
specialized techniques for applying permanent makeup are
often referred to as "micropigmentation" or "dermagraphics."
Permanent makeup is not as "intense" as a
traditional tattoo. The pigment is applied in a much lighter
density, often in several sessions to achieve the desired
effect.
What are the Benefits of Permanent Makeup?
Permanent makeup is a soft, natural
enhancement to your appearance and is suitable for people of
almost any age. The permanent makeup process is especially
beneficial for people who are allergic to traditional
cosmetics, for people who cannot apply makeup due to illness
or disability, and for people who want to look
"fresh" all the time.
Where Can Permanent Makeup be Applied?
At the Yardley Aesthetics Center, we apply
permanent makeup for clients in NY, NJ and PA. Our location
makes us easily accessible from both Metro New York, Metro
Philadelphia and Mercer County New Jersey. We offer the
following permanent makeup procedures:
Is Permanent Makeup Really Permanent?
Since permanent makeup application involves implanting
pigment into the upper layer of the skin, it is considered
permanent because it cannot be washed off. As with any other
tattoo, fading often occurs requiring that your permanent
makeup be maintained periodically.
